Protester Blocked Highway in Bangladesh


                          

Bangladeshi people blocked highway of Munshiganj outskirts of Dhaka city during a protest against the proposed Bangabandhu International Airport in Arial Beel area.

Bangladeshi police fired rubber bullet and tear gas cell to disperse the protester. A policeman was killed and about 100 local protesters and police were injured when people protesting for withdraw the proposed Bangabandhu International Airport in Arial Beel area. 






When the reinforcement was returning from the spot, some demonstrators caught a member of Bangladeshi police SI Motiur Rahman and another policeman between Hashara spot at the highway and attacked them with sharp weapons and sticks.
